Lance takes a big breath and blows it all out of his nose. He's not anxious. He's not. It's just... well, Keith never asks to "just talk", okay? How can a guy so calm, cool, and collected always be putting Lance in situations that stress him out?
Pidge would say it's because Keith is about as socially aware as conspiracy theorists on meth. Hunk would say that's because Keith is a conspiracy theorist. They aren't quite sure about the meth part yet.

Summary
Keith had been trailing silently behind her, she could hear his light footsteps in the sand, and the light crackle of his breathing over the intercom, but besides that there was no indication of his presence.
When they were about twenty minutes from where they started, Pidge heard a small grunt in her earpiece, she stopped in her tracks, spinning around and eyeing Keith carefully.
He was staring at his side, where a small blowdart was sticking out from the black under armour of his suit. She watched as he plucked it out and studied it with confusion layered on his face. A few more of the darts littered the sand by his feet, as if they had intended to hit him multiple times, or maybe they had been aiming at the both of them.
“Are you okay?” She asked, eyeing the horizon wearily, but she could find nothing.
Keith looked at her, still holding the small projectile, “I think so? But we should run.”
