And she’s glad that he waited until he was ready. Glad that she kept her feelings held back for so long, until she was.
Before, she might have felt guilty, but now…she wants him. She’s okay with wanting her ex-boss, with wanting every complicated, messy thing that Tony Stark is. Wherever that want leads them, whatever it ends up meaning.

Summary

The two stay together, becoming each other's only family until the events of A New Dawn occur. Kanan and Ezra join Hera on the Ghost and the events of Star Wars: Rebels occur similarly to canon.
Throughout their time together after the fall of the Jedi Order, Kanan and Ezra balance being family, crew, and Master and Padawan.
