Summary
This is not a love story.
It is a song written in hunger, a play performed by two fiends – one who will stop at nothing to get what he wants, and another whose desires will forever slip him by.
—
Alastor had climbed from nothing before.
Whatever the game required, he had played it, and played it well.
He would do so again.
He would smile.
He would adapt. It didn’t matter how many tender hearts he had to break, or how many chosen pleasures he had to stomach. He would endure it all and press on – until he reached that rarefied place among the clouds and stars.
Yes, he had walked this path before, and he would walk it again.
And if he had to wade through the sins of the living to get there…
Well.
He’d done far worse in the past.

Summary
So Blue hits us with:
"I'm thinking of an age gap au where Vox is Alastor's agent and Alastor is like 19 and Vox is in his 40s.
I was thinking maybe modern day au where Vox is a talent scout and agent (most cutthroat in the biz but if you can survive him, you'll be wildly successful). He also should be divorced bc he has that energy. Alastor's been the host of his high school and now uni radio station and occasionally dips into voice acting/singing for friends as needed.
Vox finds his show and says, I need this bastard on my client list now. He tracks Alastor down and tried to convince him to leave uni for a life of showbiz but Alastor is like, after the loans I just incurred? I think not! I *will* be finishing this degree."
And then it all snowballed into a big beautiful sugar daddy AU that we've been writing snippets for.

Summary
"It is not common for Vincent to see somebody as an equal. That’s where Alastor Desrosiers comes in.
Vincent managed to refrain himself from running over to Alastor or waving frantically at him, but he could feel his knees shaking and his palms were becoming increasingly clammy.""'Oh, Al…' Vincent wept, his tears falling onto the fabric of Alastor’s dress shirt.
'You’re very drunk—'
'I think I love you'
They both went silent. One second. Two seconds, three, four, ten seconds went by.
'Excuse me?' "Vincent Whittman hosts a party for contemporaries in the entertainment industry and invites Alastor personally.

Summary
When a lesser alpha publicly attempts to court Alastor, Vox loses control—nearly killing the suitor before he even realizes what he’s doing.
Alastor, ever amused, sees right through him and mocks the unspoken truth Vox refuses to admit: his feelings are real, one-sided, and embarrassingly transparent.

Summary
1933. New Orleans.
Vincent Whittman’s assignment (punishment) seems simple enough: recruit Mr. Alastor Hartfelt, the city’s famed radio star.
But his trip derails the moment he meets the man dressed in a smile too sharp, with secrets too deep, and a presence that hums with something far beyond him.
One broken ritual binds them for decades, pulling them back to each other again and again, to the one soul neither can quite break away from.
