Summary
Dick had almost missed it, the shift in Tim’s awareness.
One moment they were talking, going over a shared case that they were very close to cracking, and if they weren’t weren’t so close to each other, Tim sitting at a desk while Dick leaned against it, he may have very well missed it entirely because while Tim’s voice was a little flatter than before, he was still talking.
It was unnerving, watching Tim’s shoulders slowly dip while his mouth kept moving, sprouting information that Tim himself wasn’t necessarily trying to say.
Dick waited for Tim to come back fully into himself, knowing the lapse could last merely a second or two, but as the moments ticked on and his brother kept saying words that were slowly not making any sense, Dick cupped the back of Tim’s neck.
