Muffled chatter stripped back into silence.
“You wanna be that someone?” Jimin asks, gaze homing in on that spark of certainty.
“I am that someone,” Hoseok tells him. “I’m that someone for you.”

they say the sea always remembers.
jungkook is used to it. as one of the most commercially important canals in the world, he is used to seeing innumerable ships come and go each day, brushing past him to reach the waters on the other side. so many names, so many faces, yet they always leave before he can even catch a glimpse of their hull plates.
the world is a busy place, jungkook knows, and no ship cares to stop at a canal. but half of jungkook is the sea, and he always remembers.
