Summary
He supposes it's not healthy to think of the future and see nothing but the same thing he sees now - another fight at the end of a flight, scraped knuckles and nightmares and a sad world spinning on and on. The only bright spot is Sam, because he's so unfailingly good, but Bucky can't fathom existing beside him without dragging him down. As if he's said his fears out loud, Akeena presses herself against his thigh, a solid warmth that centers him the way nothing else can.

Summary
He’s okay with his little window into Sam Wilson’s life, he tells himself; content to stay on the outskirts and learn. His feet apparently decide otherwise, because he starts moving into the throng before his better sense tells him to march the opposite way.

“I should leave,” he says, and he thinks of Wakanda, fields and hills between him and anyone he could hurt. He’d contact Shuri, explain what he’d done, and she’d be disgusted, sure, but ultimately would agree relocation really would be the best for everyone. He could call her now and be on a plane by morning.

Summary
Maybe that’s because his insides feel like snakes, trying to slither their way out of his mouth, pulling along all the blackness that’s still festering in him. He wants to drop to the ground and scream, tell Sam that he feels like a wound barely scabbed over. He’s not healing, he’s just making himself more palatable so he can be of use.

Summary
1776 and beyond, with their dæmons in tow.
Dæmons, for those that might not know, are a physical embodiment of one's soul. An animal that, during childhood can take any shape, your dæmon is a direct reflection of yourself, while also showing a counterbalance to your personailty. When one reaches adulthood, a dæmon settles into the form that best reflects their human's true nature. To touch someone else's dæmon is the highest taboo, unless the dæmon initiates this contact. This is a high honor, reserved for the closest of loved ones (dæmons are social with one another, however, and will come into contact with each other freely).
They are not my creation, but were thought up by Phillip Pullman for his series, His Dark Materials.

Summary
There are some things neglected for time, and while this show is brilliant when it comes to character growth and development, there's only so much they can squeeze into approximately 43 minutes. I'm hoping to fill some gaps.
