Chris is drunk. He doesn't know where he's going until he gets there and it's the last place he expected to find himself. Which is a coincidence because Chris is the last person Peter expects to be knocking on his door at 2am. He isn't sure what he's supposed to do with a drunk Chris. He's even less sure why he's supposed to care. But he can't leave Chris to wander the streets in this state so he hauls him inside where Chris passes out - but not before uttering four very confusing words that keep Peter awake all night. Will those words make any more sense when they talk the next morning?
Featuring a drunk Chris, a snarky Peter, and a surprising amount of emotional angst packed into 3k words.

Summary
Peter and Chris' first attempt at a relationship doesn't end well. Their second ends far, far worse when the Chris Peter's with turns out to be a shapeshifter disguised as the hunter.

Chris sits back in his chair, not even sure what to do or say, wondering suddenly and abstractly how he had wound up here, sitting in this nursing home with his first – well. He couldn’t call Peter his first love, precisely – what was between them hadn’t been the sort of thing they had ever put labels on, but damn it, it had been something. And not just the hormones of two teenaged boys, largely sheltered from the rest of the world. He had found himself inexplicably drawn to Peter, so even if they spent months apart, the next time they saw each other, it was as if no time had passed at all.
