Summary
Mizu returns to Japan. She has a plan and a wish, but nothing is going as she had imagined. Suddenly, control over her life is snatched away from her.
In the haze, they were only shadows, but they were the first sign of land. They marked the end of almost seven months at sea. It took another half day before they finally reached Nagasaki Bay with Mizu on board.
“Tell the doctor we have orders to deliver him alive!” interjected the man who was holding her. Dr. Voet gave her one last desperate look, then the two men dragged her away. They had said alive, not unharmed.

Summary

This Blue Eye Samurai fanfiction is a continuation of the events of season one and therefore will deviate from everything taking place in the coming seasons two and three of the original TV Show.
In Arc 1, we watch Mizu struggle to be back in Japan and learn in flashbacks that even as a prisoner, Fowler loves nothing more than to manipulate Mizu into playing his wicked games.
In Arc 2, Mizu makes an unexpected discovery, while Fowler takes a last gamble.

Mizu wakes to engulfing warmth, something having slithered through the pores of her skin and touched her soul, pulling it to the surface. A cry. She smiles down at the bundle of love at her side on the futon and pulls it to her chest.
Her baby hasn’t known the world for long, her precious little, only a week old. She was born a reflection-combination of all those who love her—would have loved her—Taigen’s eye color, Mizu’s ears, Taigen’s lips, Mizu’s flushed complexion. She has her grandmother’s hair, which Mizu can tell will darken with time, which Mizu will oil and pull up into a shimada with the tenderest of care, or a chignon if her daughter wishes.

Ringo is there for a good time.Starting from Mizu's fight with the Four Fangs, this story progresses through to the Great Fire and beyond. It tries to linger in the quieter moments amongst the action.

I recently watched Christmas Carol and Emily and just wanted to explore what Dana Scully was thinking more internally and maybe dig into the conflicting feelings she'd have. As well as maybe giving some more thought and depth to her thoughts about Emily that the show didn't really get into.
Scully's thoughts and perspective from her conversation with her mother at Bill's house, to sitting and talking with Mulder, to sitting with Mulder after Emily's death.
