Sure, they kiss every day. As embarrassing as it would probably be for Sanemi to admit, it's part of their routine now. They kiss before bed, and they kiss before they leave for school in the morning. He's sure that won't change after he graduates and starts going to college.
But he's still not used to these kinds of kisses. The soft, domestic ones that are plush and warm, like being wrapped in a blanket that makes him horny and so, so weak. For all his anger, Katsuki knows when to slam on the brakes. He knows when the daily pain of using his quirk tips over into something dangerous, he knows when it’s time to regroup and restrategize, and he’s (slowly, painfully) learned how to accept help.
Meanwhile, Katsuki is convinced Deku doesn’t have brakes. It’s like someone took a fucking tricycle and hooked it up to a race car engine.
It infuriates him, it rattles him, it—it scares him. Which is the last goddamn thing Katsuki wants to feel when he’s consumed by the heat of battle, but of course that’s the only time Deku actually unleashes it.
