Summary
James Potter had a saviour complex, a whole I'm-not-leaving-until-I'm-satisfied-and-you're-okay sort of complex.
He's always been like that, always up to make sacrifices. But it seems that a lot of people are expecting too much of him; having his body pushed to the limit and then forced to break it.
A war usually has one fence and two sides, but James has never been conventional. He's taken to smashing the fence bit by bit and doing what he thinks is right. Which is valiant, stupid, but may be the key to keeping the wizarding world alive.
But, will his sacrifices be enough?

Summary
A rework of my other story Snake with a Lions Heart that has taken a slightly different route.
There are so many things that Harry still didn't know about himself or the worlds that he lives in. There are spells, rites, rituals, people, and places he's never heard of or seen before.
The summer before third-year was as normal: he did the chores, he kept quiet ... until he blew up his aunt and was taken away by a trio of Aurors. His life has turned upside down and he wasn't sure he was going to survive school when summer ends.
But as always, life never goes the way Harry expects it to.

Summary
Harry was hoping to stay at the Leaky Cauldron until school started. Did he get what he wanted? No. Instead he receives a letter and everything changes. He uncovers truths buried deep in an old man's plan. He finds friends in the oddest of places.
His name carries a burden he can't rid himself of, but at least he has Hedwig and this dog he found. Until he doesn't and everything turns to shit.
His summer has turned into a trial of faith, trust, power plays and nightmares. Will he even make it to school?
Disclaimer: This is on Hiatus because people can be mean. I am writing a new story to help me keep writing...I have not forgotten about this! It just might take a while to go back over these chapters and fix them up and finish the story. If you don't mind waiting, I'd love if you read it to see if you like it. =)
