Summary
Patrick can't help but picture the three of them a year from now: Art and Tashi at Stanford, becoming star college athletes, and Patrick, a budding professional, winning Challengers halfway across the world.
It was hard enough to find out that Art was going off to college. He’s already anxious about being on the road without him, about Art making new friends, and about living life separately after years of being in each other’s pocket. He isn’t sure if he knows how to live without him. Knowing Tashi Duncan is going to the same school makes it even worse.

(Ch16). It took me forever to get to this fic and oh my god I regret taking so long. It’s one of those rare stories that I’m taking my time with because I don’t want it to end. It’s one of the most ‘realistic’ time travel dimension hopping fics. Harry is very much Harry, not overpowered or a political prodigy, just strong-willed, courageous and good-hearted kid who’s trying his best. I absolutely love Ab and all the other characters that are under explored in canon. The author does an amazing job at exploring what it’s like to be a squib in this world; they have a solid understanding of how these power structures and elites would treat non-magical folk. Also, I laughed so hard finding out what came of Myrtle. I believe I’m about to get into the part where Harry decides to join the pirates. *rubs hands together*

Summary
When Harry's name comes out of the Goblet of Fire, he is livid. He didn't bloody want to join a deadly tournament, but it seems like no one believes him, so he swears a wizarding oath.
Now everyone believes him, but he still isn't excused from the tournament. Almost on the point of wanting to give up on his magic, Death interferes because Death's chosen child can't lose his magic.

Harry nods. He suspected something like that. ''Then I will go with you to train. It is only fair. The others are older and have more experience.''

“Regulus,” Sirius finally said, once he trusted he had his own voice under control, “has never once let me help him, even before I was a filthy blood-traitor. Why the fuck do you think I’d be able to save him now?”
Tomorrow night. Kreacher’s words throbbed inside his head. Regulus will die tomorrow night.
Sirius definitely wasn’t going to be getting any sleep at all this week.
Sirius thought he had cut all ties with his family, but when Kreacher shows up in his bedroom with a dire warning, he's hardly able to let his idiot little brother die. And when he learns about the Horcrux his brother was chasing, he's hardly about to let him take on Voldemort alone.
But getting tangled up in the House of Black again is not the best way to prove his innocence among an already-suspicious Order. Sirius has to walk a fine line if he wants to keep everyone he loves alive.
(This series is in chronological order but does not need to be read in that order. NO other stories in this series are required reading, but all are suggested to flesh out the backstory.)
