It was a relief, then, when some random New Yorker was thrown into his living room through a portal straight out of some LSD daydream.

Summary
Tony Stark goes on a mission with the Avengers to infiltrate a discovered HYDRA base. Instead, Tony helps him escape and they slowly grow closer. But Peter can't truly escape his past; it seems to follow him wherever he goes and put the people he cares about in danger.
