“Taerae-ya...” Matthew places his hand on his thigh. “I understand you are upset if you suddenly said you are hooking up with someone. I would be upset to…” Matthew moves his hand up and down Taerae's thigh in a soothing manner.
Here’s the confusing signals again. Why would Matthew be upset if he gets with someone? Matthew moves his hand a bit too high up his thigh to be just perceived as a comforting gesture. He feels his heart flutter in his chest.
“Why would you care what I do? You got Gunwook now.” Taerae says chuckling, feeling a bit awkward. Gunwook is sitting right here next to them, looking at Taerae with an intense gaze.
Or, Taerae is upset Matthew and Gunwook kept their relationship a secret from him.
