    Brock Rumlow made a terrible mistake 15 years ago. The one who had saved his life by dragging him away from a would-be fiery death, he unknowingly condemned.
    Roughly a year later, he was away on a mission, and the girl who had saved him was captured. She was the child of a Vietnam War era super-soldier experiment.
    He regretted ever saying anything, and had secretly been making plans to get both her and himself away from there. But it was not to be. Nearly four years into her capture, Brock went away on an important mission, only to come back and discover that she had disappeared.

    He never saw or heard from her again.

    Then one day, nearly 10 years later, his whole world is upended seeing her standing in the lobby of S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters!
    He was suddenly afraid, afraid for what she might do. She was the only one left alive who knew about his involvement with Hydra. Though he had quit them after she disappeared, Rumlow wasn't sure just how the hell he had escaped detection after those Hydra files were leaked.
    Rounding that corner and seeing her there made everything rush back. Then her head turned, locking eyes with him.
    What would she do now that she was free?

    In 1960 Etta James once sang, “I want a Sunday kind of love. A love to last past Saturday night. I’d like to know if it’s more than love at first sight.”

    Aubrey Daniels had always been somewhat of a romantic; when she fell, she fell hard and fast. But after being burned and her confidence at rock bottom, she gives up hope. Who would want a chubby baker with zero self-confidence? Enter Steve Rogers, who walks into her bakery saying and doing all the right things, making her think there is hope.

    Steve Rogers was lonely, but he was content with his loneliness. He wasn’t actively seeking anything; call it fate or divine intervention (As Sam Wilson calls it). Steve winds up face to face with a gorgeous baker; he can’t get over her smile or the fact that she is a walking disaster when he comes into her shop. Steve Rogers was smitten the first time he laid eyes on her.
    But when buried secrets are brought to light, can he overlook them? His heart says yes, but his mind says no. Which will Steve choose?
