Steve has begun to realize over the past few hours that Bucky’s aversion to touch was at least in large part because he didn’t trust himself to be touched, but Steve has packed that half-formed thought safely away to fully consider another time because there have already been plenty of tears tonight.
OR: The aftermath of the flashback opening scene of episode four of TFATWS, but throw Steve in there and make it fluffy.
