Possessive, obsessive, greedy.
All these things nobody had ever thought to describe James with. And all were unmistakably true.
Words not even James himself had known would ever fit him and now they were all he could think about. Taking, keeping, owning.
It was maddening at best, all consuming at worst.
James craved, he had starved and he devoured.
He was still starving. He thinks it will never cease.
Not when it came to his cloud boy, his black coffee and awful tea boy. Not when it came to Regulus Arcturus Black.Regulus in contrast had always known he had greed. So he had refused to even glance at James once too many before he could ask for more. Ask for all of him.
All in vain when James Potter made it his mission to push and pull on his life till it finally let him in. All in fucking vain when James Potter sees the blood on Regulus’ hands, wipes it off with his own clean shirt and helps him hide a murder. Regulus’ murder.
As it turns out it was hard not to demand everything when James cuts out his own heart and lays it before his very feet.
Will Regulus take it or step on it?
Or will he simply do both?

By the third week of school, Regulus’ crush is out of control.
He’s always been a top student. Not to mention, law is his thing. He excels at it, but he can’t focus in class. Not when his professor looks this good in his suit, fabric hugging all the right places. Not when he runs his fingers through already messy hair and makes it messier. Tanned skin and broad shoulders, a brilliant smile paired with infallible kindness.
Regulus has never wanted anyone more.

Regulus black escaped. He is never going to see his shitty parents again, he is truly free. But Regulus black is also lost, and his only hope is his long-lost brother and his stupid hockey-player friend James Potter. When he starts at Hogwarts, he thinks he is safe, that his frozen over exterior will save him the trouble of having to deal with his own feelings. It's a good plan, and it works quite well until that certain hockey-player friend forces all those layers of ice to melt away into nothing. He is fucked. Well and truly fucked.
