Chayanne entrou na casa bufando, com as bochechas levemente coradas de constrangimento. Seus olhos, normalmente tão brilhantes e cheios de curiosidade, estavam agora pesados, como se ele quisesse apagar da memória o que acabara de presenciar.
"Então...?" Richarlyson perguntou, sua voz cheia de expectativa. Ele observava Chayanne como se estivesse esperando por uma história suculenta, e seu olhar travesso denunciava que ele já imaginava o que tinha acontecido.
Chayanne revirou os olhos dramaticamente, soltando um suspiro pesado. "Eu nunca mais vou conseguir dormir," ele murmurou, a frustração em sua voz clara, enquanto se jogava em um canto da casa, cruzando os braços e tentando processar a cena bizarra que acabara de ver. Ele não sabia exatamente o que tinha acontecido entre seu pai e Forever, mas sabia o suficiente para querer apagar da mente o mais rápido possível.

Summary
The man hovering over him leaned back, releasing Grian completely. Cold night air rushed in to fill the void.
“I guess it’s out in the open now,” the stranger hummed. “Shame. I wanted to avoid this.”
With the additional glow occupying the space between them, Grian was finally able to catch features that were lost in the prior darkness. His curiosity outweighed all else, and he drank them in greedily. As soon as he saw who sat across from him, alarms blared in his mind.
This man wasn’t a civilian, wasn’t even a hero.
“Hello, Doctor,” the villain mused. “You were quite the help today.”

Summary
Owen isn't an idiot. He knows that if Scott finds out he's basically a newborn in vampire terms, he's going to take the easy meal and kill him. So, he lied-said he had been alive 200 years instead of in a state of unconciousness for 200 years. Hopefully Scott buys it.
Scott knows Owen is full of bullshit. No Sire would let a fledgling that young out of their sight at 200 years old, let alone out here. He thinks he's roughly 300, and is lying to make himself look like less of a threat.
Scott and Owen have a truce-they both stay out of each other's business and don't kill any humans. But for some reason, Owen is so, so hungry. And animal blood isn't cutting it.
Scott, on the other hand, is a little concerned at how bad at vampirism Owen is.
