Izuku is anxious. It would be a lie to say otherwise, because he knows it's risky to be ringing into his teacher's radio show to ask for help with controlling the too-powerful Quirk that he's trying to get a hold on, but he keeps on doing it anyway.
It was inevitable that he would get found out sooner or later.
(A take on Izuku ringing into PYHU Radio Show that I haven't seen before and when the idea hit me yesterday, I really couldn't resist giving it a whirl~)
