Katniss Everdeen is partnered with Peeta Mellark, the quiet baker boy from her history class, to work on a project that will determine her final grade. And Katniss really needs to do good on this project, since she's already failing other classes.
It doesn't help that Peeta can barely focus on the project because he's busy crushing on her.At the same time, Finnick Odair, captain of the boys' swim team, just wants to get this school year over so he can drop out of school and leave the town. There is nothing worth to stay for, until he meets Annie Cresta, captain of the girls' swim team. Someone who might be willing to get him out of his misery.
