Chapter Text
Spider-man feels the wind rush past him as he swings through the streets, arching his shots to almost touch the ground at his lowest point, almost touching the stars as he reaches the top, his momentum building. He lets out a whoop of joy, finally feeling like he can fully breath after all this time on the ground. He lands on a rooftop, cutting his landing with a stylish roll, before turning around to face behind him.
Red Hood’s boots hit the roof with a significantly louder thump, the man panting heavily as he leans forward slightly. Spider-man laughs at the man’s struggle.
“That’s one more for me.”
Hood glares at him through his helmet. “Yeah, yeah, mister super speed…”
A third man lands on the roof, his feet light but his roll much less cool then Spider- Man’s (In Peter’s opinion). Nightwing gives both of them a knowing smirk.
“You boys done flirting? We do actually have work to do after all.”
Spider-Man crosses his arms at him. “Hypocrite.”
A laugh echoes over the roof, announcing the arrival of Signal, accompanied by the ever quiet BlackBat.
“He's got you there Wing!” Says the chirpy voice of Spoiler, the woman jumping up to the roof with an over dramatic flip.
Signal’s about to add his two cents when Batman steps out of the shadows, quieting them down with a grumble: “Kids…”
Robin stands behind him with a frown, clicking his tongue at their actions despite all of them knowing he secretly finds their chaos quite amusing.
A gunshot goes off and the group collectively make their way to the edge of the roof, only to see Red Robin already beating up the thugs around the adjacent warehouse. He looks up to them with a lifted brow. “What’s the hold up, fuckers?”
Red Hood lets out a chuckle and Nightwing shakes his head at his brother’s antics. “Well, let’s go!”
And like a well oiled machine, they jump down the roof in perfect unison, their fighting blending together seamlessly as they enter the frey.
