Lloyd was so happy today. It was the day when all members of his family were going to go to the amusement park, somehow even his cousin, Morro, who was the Green Ninja made it work!
Even Morro! With all his responsibilities, yet he made it work. That was amazing, the best day ever!
He wanted to go wake his parents up early today,but maybe it was better to let them sleep in... Untill he talked with his uncle that was.
Lloyd loved his dad the most in the whole world, he could tell the boy that the sky was neon pink and Lloyd would believe it, even fight people that told him he was wrong, because they were wrong, it was whithout a doubt!
Anyway... Where was Uncle Wu? Man, Lloyd hoped he didn't forget about the park! Always so busy training the ninjas, the old man kept forgetting to have fun! Lloyd was lucky not to be a ninja,if he was honest with himself... All of that training? And he was just 16! Nope it wasn't for him. And when he got the choice to decline... he did so in a heatbeat!
Sometimes tho? He felt like he forgot something... but it always passed so fast every time. So he paid it no mind and kept going! Where? To find his uncle of course! They needed to make plans for ALL the candy Lloyd was going to eat and quite frankly puke right back out after the roller coaster!
This was going to be fun! So fun!
" Uncle Wu? Uncle Wu, where are You?"
Lloyd kept in walking thru the monestary, searching, searching for Wu.
He knew that Zane and P.I.X.A.L. didn't live there anymore, they had their own place now that Ninjago was safe and sound and they were at peace.
Jay and Nya were sleeping in just like his parents were doing so he made sure to walk quietly, as not to wake them... They were married now so it made sens to prioritize eachother, it wasn't even like they ignored the people around them, they were just in love... And so were Kai and Cole, in the kitchen apparently... Nope, nope- Lloyd bolted past that door, that open door, the kitchen door gaster then light itself.
Then he found Wu, he was with Morro in the garden, teaching him a new fighting style most likely. Thank the First Spinjitzu Master that he wasn't in Morro's shoes!
Who in their right mind would willingly chose that life? You do, you cousin!
Carry all of those expectations on your sholders 24/7 and then some more. Yeah,no... What an awful life that would be... No judgement,tho! If that was what Morro wanted to do then that was what Morro would do. Afterall, it wasn't like he knew how that was like, so why comment in it?
Today, Lloyd needed to stay focused, he was going to accomplish the most difficult task of all: get his whole family out the door so they would be first in line when the amusament park opened. That included his dad, his mom, uncle and even Morro, afterall he promised ți come too!
He got this! He can do it and-
" Hey son! Good morning. Why are you up so early? It's 7 in the morning for crying out loud!"
" Dad! Morning! Well why are you up și early,then?"
" Well played, well played indeed. I drank too much tea before going to bed. Now you."
" I want us all to be first in line at the park dad!"
" We will be, son, the park opens at 10, we have the time."
" I love you dad!"
For a moment, Lloyd swore that the lantern hung high up in the middle of the garden flicked a sickly shade of pink, neon pink... But Lloyd blinked and now it was gone.
" As do I my child, as do I."
" Always? You promise?"
" Of course I do. I always did, didn't I?"
Lloyd and Garmadon stood next to eachother, on the monestary's steps and waited in a calm silence for some time, but Lloyd was tired and hidden in his father's embrace it was so warm, so safe and inviting him to rest his eyes just for a moment,just enough to compensate for waking up at this ungodly hour of the morning.
After just one hour later they were all set to go and just as Lloyd wanted, they were first in line when the rides and fun times opened. And they went in whithout looking back, never looking back.
