Kai and P.I.X.A.L had been hanging out a lot.
And it wasn’t the usual best friends hangout either. Nya was the first to notice when Kai ditched them for the third time to hang with PIXAL.
”Sorry, Pix and I have been plannng this for weeks now, plus I’ve been helping her build this thing,” Kai said already halfway out the door when Lloyd stepped through.
”Kai, you know Thursdays is our sibling nights,” the blonde said as Kai waved him off. “I’ll be gone for an hour, Kai promised. Lloyd sighed knowing it would be stupid to argue with Kai.
Already late Kai nearly bolted out the door, using his spinjitzu to give him a headstart, by the time Kai finally got to the museum PIXAL was there standing in front of the building holding whatever she and Kai built.
some sort of… well, Kai wasn’t sure what they built, a transmitter? Oh well, PIXAL would most likely explain what it was.
”You’re late.” PIXAL scolded just as Kai met her at the door and began fixing his bow tie, “Relax, Pix, I’m only two minutes late,” Kai reached down and stole a quick kiss to her cheek.
“I would like to hope that the reason why you were late was because someone held you up?” PIXAL asked as her voice lowered the moment they entered the building.
Kai shrugged, “You know how they get, the guys are always in the way,” PIXAL just sighed and looked down.
”Nervous?” Kai took PIXAL’s hand and squeezed it, “Perhaps.. Making things like this is usually my specialty, but instead of it going to the other ninjas it’s going somewhere important, and I do not know where it’s being located..” PIXAL allowed Kai to hold her hand, which she never did, PDA was never PIXALS pleasure, but it felt different with Kai.
Kai was gentle, a huge difference to Zane. Although PIXAL didn’t mind Zane, she enjoyed more action and more hands on plus Zane was for Jay and Cole.
The event itself wasn’t as bad as PIXAL thought it would be, although she did feel a little self conscious when a couple people decided to ask Kai about his dating preferences considering PIXAL wasn’t human.
The presentation was perfect, Kai stood in the doorway like PIXAL requested, leaned against it as he watched her.
Once the presentation was over PIXAL had found her way back into a corner and fought the urge to throw up. Kai spotted her and walked over with a drink and offered it to PIXAL.
She took it and nearly chugged it, wrapping g her arms around her stomach and Kai stood there rubbing her back comforting her.
”You did amazing Pix,” Kai said kneeling as PIXAL shook her head, “I was never fond of publicly speaking,” She said softly. “Wannna get out of here?” Kai stood back up as PIXAL looked up at him and nodded.
”please?” She took Kai’s hand, and both heading towards the exit.
Sometimes PIXAL was lucky to have Kai. Even if he was a dummy sometimes.
And Kai felt the same.
And if PIXAL was up for it he could prove it..
Knowing PIXAL she wouldn’t turn down an opportunity to “satisfy” Kai.
And Kai was the only one to see PIXALS other personality. And as far as he was concerned? She was doing amazing at what she currently was.
And Kai would be there to help support her no matter what. Even if he did things his own way.
And PIXAL loved him for it.
