When the child arrived his black hair was tousled and messy. He lay sleeping in the fallen needles of the pine tree that stood above him.
The boy was lain on his side; he looked peaceful, as if he had just fallen asleep for a moment and lost track of time.His face was soft looking in sleep, a light brown, with his lips slightly parted. His hands were curled protectively around the empty space beside him. He wore a faded orange shirt and baggy jeans, with tattered old converse poking out from the hem of them. He was undoubtably handsome, even if it was in a homeless, skater type of way.
The wind brushed lightly against his skin. His face was littered with little pale nicks on his nose and cheeks, showing an insight to the life the boy had led. As the moonlight shone on him every so often his skin would seem to ripple, scales seeming to creep up his scared arms, slits appearing in his neck. But it was surely a trick of the light as the boy who lay there his black hair filling over his eyes was completely normal... completely.

I'm going back through and editing each chapter (updating to my new style, trying to piss people off and make them laugh at an equal level, and giving more substance to the characters in the following order: Percy, Reyna, Jason, Gwen, the OCs, the Seven, and then all the others), so pick up your tits and prepare. Hopefully, I'll have a chapter done every Friday, but I'm a student, life is hell, who knows.

I was underwater, trying to get Poseidon to appear. That was clearly not working. The split personality shit going on with the gods was only getting worse. I hated it. Poseidon and Athena had never been silent in my mind until Hera started meddling with things she didn’t understand.
Hazel had covered herself, Piper, and Jason with Mist to get a read on Gaia’s plans through Penelope’s old suitors.
I sighed, finally giving up in the pointless endeavor. The water lifted me back aboard where Frank, Malcolm, and Leo were waiting.
“Not a single trace.” I sighed, walking over to my brother, “It’s radio silent, which is a stark contrast from his normally overprotective behavior. I’ll assume you had no luck with Athena?”
Malcolm shook his head, “Haven’t heard from her since she gave me the quest to find the statue.”
I fidgeted with the hilt of Annabeth’s dagger, “Are they back yet?”
Leo shook his head, he was pacing anxiously, “No, I’ve got a really bad feeling about this.”
“Did you have to say that?” I muttered, “Honestly, it’s like none of you have seen Star Wars.”
