(THIS IS THE NEW REWRITTEN VERSION OF MY OLD STORY)
V met his tragic end after the Arasaka Tower Siege, succumbing to his injuries and the fatal corruption of the Relic, but death isn’t the end of his story. With some help from a new mysterious “friend”, V is flung back in time to the very beginning of his ill-fated journey: waking up in the middle of a landfill with a bullet in his head. The only difference is that Arasaka’s Relic isn’t slowly killing him. With this second chance at life, V is not the same naive merc from before; he's armed with memories of his past life, the mindset of a conqueror, and new otherworldly powers thanks to his new benefactor.

V lost it all when she decided to take the FIA’s offer to fix her. Of course, broken promises and shattered dreams are the FIA’s de-facto motto. No cyberware, no Johnny, and worst of all, Panam won’t even give her the time of day. 55 missed calls, hundreds of missed text messages, and now that V’s appeared out of the blue again, Panam can’t even bring herself to give V a message back, a sign she’s alive.
Now V is left alone, in an apartment where nobody important to her is left around Night City, and her dream of being a Night City legend is crushed, a shattered dream left behind in the wake of her surgery. She’s left picking up the pieces of a broken life, and this time, she’s alone to piece it together into something new.
In simpler terms, V is a hopeless lesbian who lost her lover to her coma and I want to make her suffer for Panam’s heart again and The Tower ending is the best way to make that happen

After searching for a cure, and her choices in Dogtown—sending Songbird to the Moon and killing Reed—leave her hunted by the NUSA, it leads her back to the original plan: reach Mikoshi beneath Arasaka Tower.
Rejecting help from others, she accepts Johnny’s reckless plan to storm Arasaka alone. Just the two of them.
But when they reached Mikoshi, the truth was revealed. Even without Johnny, she has only months to live. Choosing her friend’s survival at least, over self-preservation, she surrenders herself to Alt, passing into the Blackwall while Johnny had remained adamant to the end to stick to the plan until he is forced into his friend’s body against his will.
