Cas is back from the Empty and Dean is committed to righting every wrong between them, including what Dean considers just morally wrong, which means he's going to give Cas the only thing that he said would ever make him happy; Dean himself. Because Cas isn't super interested in a hostage situation, Dean gets unexpected push back and now he's in for an uphill climb in which he's trying to convince Cas he's in love with him all the while trying to convince himself that he's not.

dean rolls through a college town down south for a case. he gets a lot more than he bargained for when meets damien, a student who leaves him questioning everything.
kind of set in the style of an og monster of the week ep, i miss the folklore aspects that were explored more often in the earlier seasons. and, as much as i love the mainly-midwest setting, i think the show really missed an opportunity for some good southern gothic adventures.
