Summary
Cas peered at Dean's face as the brothers conversed. The RA wondered if the other man noticed that Sam had barely touched his salad, or how often he was grinding his teeth.
A story about the adversities of chemical dependency, in whatever form you can imagine.

Summary
When Sam is eight years old his life takes a bit of a turn when he meets a yellow eyed boy who looks exactly like him in his dreams, and who becomes his closest friend besides his brother. Over the next decade that relationship will grow and change and help shape the man he is to become... but so will the changing relationship with his brother Dean, when they fall in love. Will Sam follow the plan laid out for him to take over Hell or will the pull of true love change his destiny and battle the growing darkness inside.
Warnings for Wincest, lots of sex with demons as well as between the boys, dark acts, blood drinking to gain power, and violence. Although I think the violence is show level.
this work is completed, I am just working on editing as I get ready to post each chapter. I plan to have it all posted by the end of the month and I may post multiple chapters at once. There are 35 chapters and an epilogue, and its just over 100,000. words.

Summary
For Jess, there’s before: when she was a good daughter who followed orders, who is loyal to her father no matter what, who is safe as a demon could be. Then there’s after: when she all but slammed that in the trash, and put an open season on herself.
Demons are humans, maybe more than anything else that once was. Jess still likes to take care of things that are hers, she still likes to make people she loves happy.
She loves Sam.
She chose him.
No matter what.

Summary
But that’s when he notices them: the rings.
The shining knickknacks on the table to Sam’s left aren’t just pieces of bargain-bin estate fluff. It’s jewelry. Now that Dean’s moved away, a shaft of light falls right onto the table, reflecting light directly into Sam’s vision. He blinks away the bright spots, and there they are. Sitting innocuously on the edge of the table closest to him.
Later, it will feel like fate. Right now, the feeling is inexplicable, as Sam’s burgeoning sentence dies on his tongue.
Or: After Chuck has been defeated and life is as good as it's ever been, Sam impulsively buys a pair of rings at an estate sale. Dean starts acting strangely.

Summary
Flashes of last night come back to you. That bastard shoving you to the floor, chanting, light starting to bleed from your body. The beginning of the agony. Then he disappeared for god knows how long, leaving you to suffer, before Dean showed up. But as soon as Dean's hand was on the back of your neck, the way he used to stroke your hair when you were sick as a kid, it was pulled away.
The mastermind, the guy behind all this (whatever this was), had Dean by the back of the shirt with an angel blade to his throat. Ringing ruptured your ears and at first you thought you were going blind. But a golden glow seeped out from the man's body, spreading to the walls, leaving him a reverse silhouette in the shape of an angel. Music cracked the air like thunder as a loud, operatic hymn in a language you didn't know surrounded you from all sides. All you could tell was that something was terribly wrong and the angel was going to kill Dean, and you couldn't let—
That was when the white light broke through the dam, flooding through your body and leaving every inch of you in searing pain. You had to stop him, but all you could do was scream as bones snapped and something weighed down on your back.

Summary
A new era of peace has a dark cost: the eradication of everything that doesn't fit a perfect world. The lines between salvation and slaughter have blurred.
Ones who rebel are left with only one, desperate path to break the cycle: to condemn the purest soul to a fate worse than death.
The road calls once more...
...but this time, it leads to damnation. -

Summary
There’s a ghost or something in Sacramento that Dad left them for. He’d been happy to only have to fill out Sam’s paperwork for school; three weeks ago, in Spokane, Dean finally bit the bullet. He’d only been 2 months from graduating.
Sam is 14 the first time he sees the ocean. -

Summary
What was the importance of a soulmate, to someone without a soul? If Dean swore this version of Sam was not his brother, despite all the evidence, then why continue to act like he was?
“You don’t have to protect me anymore.” Sam said, matter of fact.
Broad shoulders went still, Dean’s back rigid and stiff. “Yes I do.”
__
Tucked away in the bathroom that morning, Sam resolved he still couldn’t fully recognize himself. He practiced a smile in the mirror, squinted his eyes and scrunched his nose, the way he naturally used to.
With everything stripped away, no sense of self, Sam realized that there was nothing else left inside.
__
TLDR; Sam sees the world a little differently without a soul.

Summary
It had been like lightning.
Sam hadn’t thought about his own natural psychic abilities in years, not since he’d gotten back from the Cage and hadn’t dared try to use them. He hadn’t had a vision anyway, not since Azazel.
But Magda Peterson. A kid, really. A bruised, tortured, flayed kid---had repeated things he’d told himself for years. Phrases about ‘unholiness’, ‘abomination’, and ‘unclean’. Simply because she had a part of her that others didn’t understand.
It had been like being struck by lightning. The realization that it wasn’t true.
And if it wasn’t true about Magda, it wasn’t true about Sam.
OR:
A fix-it for the entirety of season 12 of Supernatural starting with saving Magda Peterson. Sam gets his powers back when saving Magda, and Ketch does NOT get to her in time. A look at what the season could've looked like if things were just a little to the left (and a huge step sideways from canon).
Heads up, I'm saving literally everyone that got killed off this season. Except Toni and Ketch, they suck. Season 12 pissed me off more than any other season so I'm fixing it and giving Sam, Dean, Cas, and the rest of the cast the life they deserve. Fuck canon.

Summary
“I dunno, man, I don’t really think of it like that. Time wasn’t like that in the cage. And, especially after Cas took a lot of it, the whole thing feels, you know, apart,” Sam says.
And it’s true. Like his time in the cage is part of a different life, one mostly remembered but only half-felt. Just as distant as his days at Stanford. Just as distant as his days with Ruby. Maybe he’s just too good at extracting the pieces of his history that are painful. Maybe Dean is so stuck in his pain because he’s just a bit more human than Sam is.
“That’s good. That’s really good, Sammy.”
_____Chuck's been defeated. Jack is gone. Cas is dead. Sam is ready to build a new life but Dean's grief threatens to consume him entirely. Sam tries to accept that he can have happiness and a life, even if most of his focus is on how his brother is drowning in pain. Dean's grieving process is violent and dangerous, but ultimately his love for his angel may pull him through.
OR
Dean’s loved ones watch as he monumentally self-destructs while grieving his angel. There will be eventual happiness.
