Summary
I accidentally walked in to witness the biggest secret of His majesty Fire lord Zuko. This secret could end him and before that could happen, he ends my freedom. He decides to never let me out of sight, by holding me captive in his bed chamber. Is this going to be my life now? When will this torment end?
This story explores the Master & Servant trope, Captive & Captor trope, Morally Grey(?) MMC, and Stockholm syndrome, to name a few. Enjoy!

Summary
Seated upon the obsidian throne carved from the bones of forgotten kings, Queen Sahira gazes with haunted authority. Her crimson hair cascades like spilled wine over blood-red robes etched in ancient runes. Veins of power glow faintly beneath her skin, a testament to the forbidden blood magic she commands. Shadows of the past; faceless, whispering, watching; loom behind her, remnants of the souls bound to her rise. This is the heart of Sahirra's power: beauty cloaked in terror, a legacy soaked in sacrifice. Her silence speaks of kingdoms ruled, rebellions crushed, and a destiny darker than prophecy ever dared whisper.

The terror of Politics (aka: Zuko and his friends freak out ambassadors and dignitaries) by Katinka01

Summary
Zuko has been stuck for months in meetings with ambassadors and diplomats, half of them wanting his head, everyone expecting him to suddenly have a solution for a 100 years of disasters, and he feels like he has not slept in weeks. So yes. He might be a teeny tiny bit miffed.
His head is pounding and his eyes feel heavy. He moves up a hand to rub at them, part tiredness, part frustration and oh. Oops.In the midst of all the shouting, Zuko’s eye falls from its socket and lands with a small, thunderous thunk on the table in front of him.
Tldr: Zuko is tired and has been working his butt off in the peace talks post-war, and he forgot that when you have growth spurts, your prosthetic does NOT grow with you. In turn, he manages to give every dignitary a heart attack, which his friends very much enable. Oops?

Summary
Katara had almost forgiven Zuko for breaking her heart right before finals. And this evening could have been the cusp of something new, had not the force of plot driven them apart once more. Now, a stressed Fire Lord and confused Sokka have to find out who brainwashed their respective significant others.
An alternate take on "Purr" by sparrowkeet1 because I always thought Zuko and Suki got off the hook a little too easy.

Summary
For historical accuracy, the coup d’état was Suki and Hakoda’s idea, not Zuko’s.
Or: in which Zuko doesn’t escape the palace after the eclipse. After a few days, Ozai decides to send him to the Boiling Rock.
It doesn’t take Suki and Hakoda long to reach a conclusion: why limit themselves to escaping the Boiling Rock when they could stage a coup in the Fire Nation as well?

Summary
Dealing with a deep depression for a year, Zuko finally snaps. He desperately tries to get his life together but fails every time. He runs away from the palace and hides for the world, thinking it will either solve his inner turmoil or stop him from having to deal with his problems. However, he can't hide for the ghosts in his own mind. In his hiding place, he meets someone who brings up all trouble of the royal family once again. Meanwhile, Aang and Katara search for the Fire Lord while wondering what could have happened to him. Aang knows Zuko is smart ... but he also knows his friend never thinks things through.
This is a platonic Zukaang story. Their connection always warms my heart.

Summary
Katara deserves more and she knows it. For two years she has been living at the Southern Air Temple helping Aang to bring back the Air Nation, but she feels parts of herself slipping away. Already, people are forgetting what she has sacraficed, her culture is moving on without her, and her friends have all found peace with their roles in this new world but she hasn't. Katara decides she needs to find herself again which prompts her to begin traveling the world and writing letters to her friends that she's speant too much time without. She is drawn to a certain firebender and the memories surrounding him, what will she find when she gives in to these thoughts?
Post-cannon story with some cannon events retold from Katara's perspective, slight cannon divergence (the events of the show takes place over 3 years, not 6 months), and an extreme slowburn. I mostly just was justice for my girl Katara and what happened to her post-cannon.

Summary
Fire was an element that either commanded respect or consumed fear. Aelita Kenshin had experienced both feelings during her sixteen years of life. A firebending master reduced to nothing but the hollow shell of what she once was, the Butcher of Ba Sing Se no longer trusted the power beneath her fingertips.
The entire world believed the Avatar to be dead and nearly all of the Akira's world thought she was too. Forced to leave Aelita's body behind, Aang and the others are left to grapple with the grief that threatens to overwhelm them with only their desire for peace and justice pushing them forward.
Welcomed home as war heroes next to their sister, twin Princes Zuko and Zetzu are thrust back into the game of thrones, forced to face their demons. With tensions rising faster than Sozin's Comet approaches, it's soon clear that only one of them can be left to inherit their family's scorched legacy.
Fire is the element of power. The people of the Fire Nation have the desire and will to achieve what they want. Only time will tell if that power and desire will be too much to handle as the fate of the world is forged in fire.
