A Hellenistic twist on the Hellaverse.
Daän, the sinner formally known as the Greek Hero Perseus, enjoyed a long sabbatical within Hell until fairly recently. He has now found himself ensnared in a plot with the Pact-Demon, the former heavenly messenger and infamous trickster Hermes. While Daän feels this unfair game is his only chance at being briefly reunited with his dearest Andromeda, his benefactor Hermes merely has the selfish ambition of doing the bidding of some Heavenly Hosts who have promised him a permanent place in Heaven. The cost? Far greater than Daän is willing to give. Especially now that he has an unexpected lover to lose: Medusa, the very beast he once slew.
Those who are Crowned in Black were once the central figures of religions, cults and entire cultures in the world of living creation. But in Heaven and Hell, a deep conspiracy has begun to operate against them. As Hermes put it, "it is all about balancing the scales".
Daän's plan? To disguise his lover as a nun, for she was once a priestess of Athena, after all. Their cathedral-like hideout: the House of Woe, unfortunately begins to attract other sinners of similar origins, inviting trouble directly to their door.
