Falling into bed with your ex is never the right choice, especially when you haven't seen each other in three-hundred years. Bonnibel can't seem to help herself, and Marceline has no intention in controlling her urges.
Relationships are hard, doing things right is harder. Trying to fix what's broken can seem impossible when you can't keep your hands off each other, or when your partner expects the world of you.
Rewriting the entire series to have Marceline and Bubblegum's relationship intentional from the start, complete with comic books, side books and lore books, video games, and spinoff shows. Starts shortly after S1E12: Evicted! Planning on playing with some pretty dark themes. Thanks for the read!

She's flanked by Flapjack, a naive adventurer who may be more powerful than he lets on, Dib Membrane, a crazy conspiracy theorist/inventor who's still getting used to the idea of having friends, Morty Smith, an 'aloof' pest who acts like the top dog but isn't fooling anybody, and Finn, a kid way out of his depth and still arguably the only one who knows what he's doing.
Saving the world without even knowing how to function as a team? They're lucky they've got several cosmic-ish entities watching over them, or they'd be dead as hell.Series

Winter King was a sociopath, but one hell of an entertaining one. Being so surface-level to just ignore and not care for people he cared about in the past, putting on a new coat of paint and saying everything is fine and he believes it is. He used to care for Marcy, but he replaced her with an ice copy. It just shows how superficial he is. He remembers what happened, but he doesn't really care about any of those events. He is not personally invested in any of it. He forces the world to be his fantasy without needing to deal with any of the consequences. He could and would replace everyone with ice copies.
I wish we could have had a deeper dive into his brain and get more of him in the next season of Fiona and Cake, or anything Adventure Time related. Because he would have been so entertaining in the main show as well.
