Summary
This is the second part of the Dogtown tales, post secret ending, when V tries to figure out how to save herself after attacking the Arasaka tower. With a pissed off `Saka at her back, it's definitely not going to be easy. Besides, the threat of NUSA still hangs over Dogtown, for by providing assistance in So Mi's escape and humiliating the President, Kurt Hansen has played a tricky chess game.
Primarily I'm still sticking with CP/PL ideas, it's my version of what could be after Mikoshi 🤨
Be aware that I'm an incredible fan of conversations, which I prefer over action very often.Series

Valerie's cured. It's finally over. She comes home, and outside of Delamain and Vik there's no one to welcome her. This is the end of the crazily illustrated chapter of her life, and, once again, she must start all over.
No chrome, no gigs, nothing. It could've been a dream life for anyone else - living off savings that count in hundreds of thousands, savouring sweet rumours about the new legend of Night City. Living as a face of the crowd opens many ways: calm hobbies, healthy food, simple job.
But it desperately lacks something that became painfully important for Valerie from the past. Valerie from the presents tries her best to focus on the future instead.
That chapter is closed, the closest she'll ever come to gigs now is handing them out to those who are still capable of doing something in this city. Even if ghosts from those times will follow her till the end of her life, there's no place for superstitions in the world where you can upload your soul on a chip.
The thing is some ghosts are a little too material. And they remember her all too well, they have questions, offerings, their own goals and matters to achieve them. Valerie just no longer has any means to defend herself. -

Nel perfetto stile Cyberpunk 2077 ogni capitolo prende il titolo da una canzone! Ecco qui la prima (che dà il titolo a tutto quanto!)
