The Les Amis YouTube channel has been growing in popularity ever since their early days, as their college's GSA video collection. Now, it functions as a series of different channels and ideas, with each member having the freedom to do what they want. With the recent edition of their new editor Marius, things are shaken up a bit as old secrets come to light, and conversations that should have happened long ago and being forced into the open. Les Amis find themselves in a strange place that resembles an island, where they are confined inside and around a building and its surroundings. People wearing strange clothes present them with the rules they have to follow, with the promise of unpleasant consequences if they do not. Out of fear and curiosity, the puzzled young men obey. During the days and whatever time of the day, Les Amis are told to gather outside of any door their captors dictate, unsure if it ever is the same door. And all they remember at the end of the day is entering the room, and then waking up to bright lights upon them, confined to a chair, after which their captors release them. Gavroche is locked away, the captors take an interest in Courfeyrac, not releasing him after they’re done with him in those rooms, instead carrying him away in an inaccessible room. Enjolras’ frustration grows stronger, he feels responsible for everything he and his friends are going through, and takes it upon himself to rescue them all and escape. Where are they? What is this place? Who’s behind this all? And what does a 20-year-old unsolved murder case have to do with that and them all?

Angel Javert follows every rule. Demon Valjean breaks all of them (mostly by accident, and always to help people). Thanks to Myriel’s help, Valjean has escaped Hell’s oversight and now lives quietly among humans — running a flower shop, performing the occasional small miracle. But, as in every Les Mis universe, Javert inevitably finds him.
When Valjean uses a miracle to save the barricade boys, Javert covers for him. Horrified at his own corruption, Javert does the only logical thing: he quits. Or at least, he tries to. The bureaucracy has other plans.
