This story is an amalgamation of what would happen if Marvel and DC were part of the same universe. It is also heavily influenced by Symbiotes. -

Mary Parker has just lost her dog ergo, her best friend, and can't bear to be in her own home because the memories are too much. So, she makes a simple plan. Finish the research/experiment project at the institution, then quit her job with her amazing husband, and travel the country with their adorable little baby. Her Peter. Her Petya. Come back after getting a chance to grieve. But when she goes to the local facility where works to quit, things don't exactly go to plan. The facility just HAD to be run by HYDRA.

Right,” Tony muttered, clearing his throat. “So—”
“When am I going home?”
Sharp. No warm-up. Kid even left the earbuds in, music leaking loud enough to prove the point: not listening. Then he flopped onto the cushions with an undue hardness.
Tony swallowed the wince. “Wow. Okay. Straight to the big existential. You only just got here.”
Peter shrugged, gaze fixed somewhere past him. “Yeah. I know.”
