But James also believed in fairness and reciprocity and he remembered when Severus had looked lovingly into his eyes, held his hands and vowed to cook everyday for the rest of their lives (mostly to ensure that the rest of their lives meant many years together instead of being cut short by untimely, food poisoning related deaths).
