Kicking, biting, scratching, he did not dare to stop. He felt another person descend on him and merely redoubled his efforts. Because that wasn't enough of a challenge, I also made a world very similar to Victorian England with harsh discipline, honor, and proper comportment. I created a world where first-gens are used to replenish the magic of families, so while second-class citizens, they are necessary every three generations to keep the family magic alive. Beloved Hekate is the goddess of magic, and she does occasionally interfere, too.
