The letter formally invited him and three others to a twelve month integration program: two humans; two angels, living amongst the demons in their world, with the intent to see if they could live harmoniously together. It was, ultimately, a trial run for a bigger project. If the program proved to be fruitful, it could then progress into something with a slightly larger range and, eventually, go worldwide. It seemed silly to most, Sebastian included. Demons and sorcerers; such as himself, and his brother, lived relatively harmoniously together already. But a common human couldn’t possibly be able to accept even the thought of living civilly with a demon. Much less a common angel, and they were at least actively aware of the existence of them. Still, he accepted the offer. They all did, and of course they did. The Council knew knew exactly who to contact, and they knew they’d all accept their offer, for one reason or another.
