Mydei stood in the doorway, silhouetted by the low evening light. He’d changed. Gone was his usual garb. He wore a simpler one now, in a creamy white chiton. And it was… wrong. A size too small, perhaps borrowed or chosen with malicious intent. The linen chiton strained across the broad expanse of his chest, pulled tight over his pectorals. The fabric was so thin, so taut, that the outlines of his nipples were blatantly visible, two peaked points against the cloth. The hem rode high on his powerful thighs. His face was flushed, his usually sharp eyes dark and unreadable. He looked like a vision of provocation. Fuck.
His scent hit Phainon first—metallic, bloody, and of burning firewood.
“You look pathetic,” Mydei stated, closing the door behind him. His voice lower than usual, his knuckles were white where he gripped the doorframe for a second.
Phainon could only stare, his rut-muddled brain short-circuiting. Shame, desire, and overwhelming confusion made a slurry of his thoughts. “Wha… why…”
“You offered. I’m here.”
Phainon’s in rut, what’s better than asking Mydei to help a fellow alpha bro out. -

The boy still didn’t answer her. His fear was still a mask over his face, and Veth looked at it with a frown.

Eddie Munson died on March 27th, 1986.
Except…he didn’t. He couldn’t have. Because Eddie Munson is currently arguing with himself in his fucking head about sci-fi quotes, which doesn’t feel especially like something that a dead person would have the capacity to do.
The bats had killed him. There had been pain, and the sick sensation of tearing flesh. He’d had to swallow past a mouthful of his own blood to tell Henderson he loved him. Surely those were symptoms of imminent death.
And yet.
On April 1st, 1986, Eddie Munson opens his eyes in a dim hospital room. There’s a gasp from his left, and he tries to turn his head towards the source.
“Easy there, kid. They’ve got you trussed up pretty good.”
Eddie doesn’t need to see him. He’d know that voice anywhere, in any universe, hell dimension or otherwise.

Yoojin looks up and takes in his dongsaeng’s face properly. His expression is blank and his handsome face is stiff with tension, but his gaze tells a different story.
It’s not that Yoojin does not understand his younger brother’s anger and worry. He disappeared all of a sudden, then reappeared out of nowhere. And strictly speaking, it isn’t the first time Yoojin was suddenly spirited somewhere else without warning.
But Yoohyun has never been so quick to dismiss his words.
Even before, during more turbulent events like his… yes, kidnapping at the hands of the MKC Guild’s offshoots, his dongsaeng at least heard him and his thoughts out, and eventually went along with whatever Yoojin told him. He really is a good guy.
Yoojin finds himself at a loss, but knows he must persist.

Right then, the wind brushes his cheeks and Han Yoohyun follows through.
Han Yoojin disappears in a dungeon and Han Yoohyun decides that this is the last time he will ever do so.
