George didnt expect to fall for Clay Madden, or as he would like to be called Dream, a patient with terminal cancer of all the people in the world and even though he know falling for Dream will only cause his future self pain, how could he resist those blond locks and reckless lifestyle. He decided that’s a problem for future him.

George has spent the last decade partying through school. First college, then university, and now uni again for his doctorate. He's fucked his way through every campus he's set foot on and that didn't change when he transferred to America for his masters degree a few years back. Especially now that his parents have a harder time breathing down his neck. The distance is a breath of fresh air that he knows is fleeting. Their wealth and influence is like a death grip around George's neck at times and he's dreading the arranged marriage he knows is coming as soon as he's done with school in the states. He needs to make this time last as long as possible.
Sapnap is in his final year of undergrad, ready to take on all his classes while tutoring the fraternity his childhood best friend is part of for a bit of cash to help out his parents. He doesn't party or smoke or any of that stuff people his age seem to always be doing when he sees them. He does his homework, tutors frat boys, and tries his best to get out of Dream's attempts at "turning him into a man". All he needs to do is get through this year and he'll finally be on his way to making his family proud. At least, he hopes so.

And then eventually the thought of the shitty gate is too far away, forgotten again until it closes behind George on his way out.

And if he couldn’t earn this life, then his parents had no qualms in paying for him to get it. But as George begins to develop a taste for shitty beer and burnt tires, champagne in the back of Audis isn’t as sweet, especially when only one of those options comes with a pretty 6’2 blonde street-racer.
