He was too cute. They barely held themselves from touching his cheek to see if it was as warm as they expected. Narinder would probably bite their fingers off, but damn if that wouldn’t be worth it.
“It’s… It’s getting late,” they noticed.
“Oh, so catcalling is allowed after dark?”

Two years after leaving prison, Narinder gets in touch with Ratau about testifying against his siblings. The deal is simple: reopening his case in exchange for keeping a roof above an officer's head during the investigation.
What he doesn't know is that Lambert is not only poorly suited for the task, but also has their own reasons to join the case.UPDATED EVERY FRIDAY

Summary
A goat and a lamb, both the last of their respective kin. Victims of a prophecy foretold long before their time, one held fire in her heart and the other ice in her veins. Forced by circumstance, the two forged a bond like no other. A time when two vessels were chosen, gifted their respective crowns, and the duty to both lead a cult and to exact bloody vengeance upon the bishops who took their kin.

I had originally outlined and began working on a found family fic between Forneus and the Lamb, but realized that a major plot point didn't work well anywhere after finishing chapter 2. Since I had already put in so much effort and I was fairly proud of chapter 1 of what would have been my first fanfic, I decided to make a one-shot collection instead! Some of the chapters will be taken from what I had planned for the original fic, but others will be entirely new.
Updates will not be scheduled and tags will update over time. The top notes will include content warnings if applicable for a given chapter.

The Lamb had fallen for their bloodthirsty god long ago. They had hoped to serve as his right hand when he was freed. When he betrayed them, they were left with no choice but to make him theirs. Summary
The Lamb came out victorious from the battle against The One Who Waits. Not one bit pleased by Narinder's attempt to take their life after everything they did to free him, Lambert spared the former god of death, planning to make the cat pay for everything he had ever done. However, The Lamb's plans had an abrupt change once they brought Narinder to the cult and realized that maybe, just maybe... the rotten, decayed and bone exposed body of the cat was not made for mortal realm without his godhood.

Lambert founded Cat's Cradle two thousand years ago by the grace of The One Who Waits. Most people in the former cult now faith don't remember why it was even started, many now being born in the large town built over ruins. Only four really remember why all of this was made, The Crucible. They are the disciples of Lambert and over see the cult in different ways, often making sure things keep running while The Lamb is away. Now after all these years they have seen what they had all been waiting for, the freedom of their God. Only it wasn't what they were expecting. The One Who Waits seems to be mortal and things just keep getting weirder.
Now Lambert along with their Crucible will need to come together, learning how strong their bonds are and grow new ones as a new age is coming. A New Faith is to be born. What this means they will all soon find out.

You know, before I died I there was one game I remember playing and having loads of fun with.
Cult of the Lamb,
Always had a blast playing the game and reading some of the comics.
The characters, the weapons, the lore, and obviously making a nice little home for all my followers to live safely in.
I enjoyed doing all of it, even though it did kinda suck that I had no one to play as the goat with me when it was announced, I still had fun changing into him from time to time.
However, it seems that something took that as a good enough of reason to drag me into the Goat's body before placing me into this world i had grown to know.
Now, instead of safely taking care of all my problems from behind the screen, I now have to actually carefully consider everything I do not just for me, but for everyone else who we bring to our sanctuary.
Hopefully, I can keep this place a sanctuary.
