Summary

Now that she's older, Elise parties and throws herself into her work to fill the void Singed's lack of approval or affection leaves. Nights filled with Shimmer and alcohol come and go, escapism at its finest.
Then Silco decides he wants Shimmer's formula improved as soon as possible. He even goes as far as to assign his right hand, Sevika, to oversee Elise's work and ensure it gets done. At first, they are at odds, both women despising the arrangement. Until they start working together and discover it actually isn't so bad to be at one another's side. It works. It works well.
But what happens when they fall into bed together on an impulsive, drunken night? What happens when Elise finds Sevika's arms and lips fill the void better than a hit of Shimmer ever did? And what happens if it becomes more than that?

Quill is a Zaunite who moved to Piltover as a teenager so their father could chase a profitable opportunity as an inventor. Their knack for creating codes for written messages gets the attention of the Chem Barons, and they join Silco's enterprise as a scribe. This quickly leads to an entanglement with Sevika, his number two. Their relationship with her evolves as their responsibilities expand, and things are a mess for everyone involved.
