What a way to end the year, heading to the red-light district to find the criminal who’d ghosted him for the past two weeks. He can only hope he’ll begin the new year with the same problems and that the new ones will wait just a bit longer, that he’ll see the end of the new year and not just the beginning. Damn signs everywhere making him sentimental. What brings him literally down to earth is Dabi’s heartbeat, fainter and slower than usual, posture slouched in a way outside of the normal uncaring yet somehow jeering stance he takes on. Hawks is no empath, but he is a hero, and it’s obvious he’s in worse shape than usual.

“I didn’t hear a single ‘please’ or a ‘thank you’.”
Another sigh. After a beat, Jungkook lifts his head, just a little, and squints over at him.
“I didn’t say thank you yet because I’m going to do that later. With. You know.” He tries to smirk, one eyebrow coming up, but then he has to cough some more and it ruins the look he was going for. He muffles the cough into his pillow like he thinks that will somehow hide the fact that he’s coughing, and Yoongi holds back a laugh.
“Yeah, I’m not really holding my breath for that, baby.”
“I could do it,” Jungkook whispers hoarsely. He’s pouting now.
“You’re not sucking my dick with a sinus infection, Jungkook.”

But yes, introducing my challenge for Sicktember 2025: a short hurt/comfort sickfic for every day of September! Starring your (probably) favourite Team Rocket members: Jessie, James, Meowth, Cassidy, and Butch. With a few appearances by other TR members, like Wendy or Mondo, sprinkled throughout.
It’s going to be a whole month of ravaging fevers, occasional nausea, and more colds than most people catch in their lifetime. Featuring: fainting, puking, dizziness, headaches, and a very copious amount of gross sneezing. Everyone’s going to suffer (especially Butch, let’s be honest here), and that’s why we’re here. So prepare for tro- I mean, Sicktember 2025: Team Rocket Edition!

“You idiot,” Yuri ground out. He wasn’t going to be the one to tell Yuuri that Viktor probably didn’t give a damn about the stupid meeting—that he was coming back early because he was worried.
He sure as hell wasn’t going to tell him that he hadn’t seen Viktor really care about anyone but himself until Yuuri came along.
