Summary
It's strange that on such a huge campus—with what, twenty-four thousand people?—you run into the same ten or so faces everywhere. Parties, football games, basement shows. The middle of the woods?
Maybe Halloween isn't the best time to tie up loose ends. -

Shreadhead99:
Has anyone ever talked with someone who’s dead?Simon should completely dismiss the whole post and go on with his day. There was no reason for him to get so hung up on it. But… It made him feel… something. Like he wasn’t alone in this whole thing. Like there was at least one other person in the whole world who could understand. He let out a shaky breath and typed out a very short reply, sending it almost immediately so he wouldn’t chicken out.

Episode 3 in my attempt at writing School Spirits Season 3. If you haven't read my previous works "DEADER THAN EVER" and "HOW TO GET AWAY WITH DYING" you might be missing quite a bit of context.
This one’s packed. We’re peeling back more layers; Arden, Janet, and of course, our lovely protagonist Maddie Nears. Sandra’s arc deepens, Maddie and the gang start connecting more dots, and things are slowly, very slowly, starting to make sense. Maybe. Sort of. There’s lightbulbs flickering, secrets surfacing, and some doors cracking open (or slamming shut). And a whole big Mina feature! Let’s get into it.

Summary
Quantum Superposition describes the possibility that opposing realities can be simultaneously true. Simon is living, but trapped amongst the dead. Can the Split River ghosts affect the nature of the scars and recreate the accident that trapped him in the first place?
Meanwhile, Maddie attempts to pick up the pieces of her fractured life while clinging to her afterlife connections. However, moving forward is nearly impossible without first letting go.

Summary
“How are you, The Most Dramatic Bitch In All of Split River, gonna make it all better?” Rhonda rephrased, a slight tease in her voice.
Simon takes a second to consider what that may look like, “I…I don’t know…” And that was a fact that scares him. He doesn’t know if he screwed it all up…if it’ll never be the same between him and Xavier.
“Okay Sherlock, don’t hurt yourself, I’ll give you some ideas.”
Simon turned towards her, eyebrows raised, “Really?”Or
Two hopeless idiots in love go to two ghosts for love advice. Simon gets some suggestions from Rhonda, while Xavier is basically being coached by Charley. Will this advice lead to a new relationship, or just fuck everything up?

Summary
This story will basically pick up exactly where season two left off. It might be a slow buildup, but it will eventually get rolling. Both the posthumous posse, as well as livings are gonna have to team up if they want to save Simon. As well as themselves, before time runs out. Having the tutelage of a true psychic medium, might put Maddie in the fast lane, but will she spin out if the truth is too much to handle? And will she take everybody with her?

Summary
Maddie is still making up for her disappearance, Claire has the cheerleaders to tend to, and Nicole and Claire are attached at the hip, so there she goes, too. Not that Simon and Xavier actually have any qualms with having a Halloween movie night together.

Summary
This is the nicest Simon’s ever been to me, Xavier realizes at some point. Drunk crying and about to pass out. Not a good sign, especially when the guy’s the closest thing to a friend Xavier’s had in a while.
(Four conversations in the car between Xavier and Simon that we didn't see, and one we did.)

Episode 2 in my attempt at writing School Spirits Season 3. If you haven't read my previous work "DEADER THAN EVER" you might be missing quite a bit of context.
In this episode, we just get more insight. Generally. We learn a bit about Arden, our new ghost (OC). Maddie and Nicole form a very dynamic duo in search of answers from Eugene. Janet and Simon look for answers elsewhere. We learn the full story of Mr. Martin's death, and Sandra's arc is expanded. Let's go!

Summary
When Wally types Ready for Homecoming? in the chat box, Maddie's initial reaction is a twinge of irritation. She's certain his next question will be if she minds finishing up their lab report by herself.
Are you? she types back.
Kinda? I was so focused on the game part that I forgot about the dance part lol. I don’t have a date.
Well, he'd better find one. It'll be super awkward if he wins Homecoming King and has to do the spotlight dance alone, and she tells him so.
He takes a long time to respond. Then, Want to come with me? If you don’t have plans
Maddie stares at her computer screen in disbelief. She’s not sure which part is crazier: that Wally Clark just asked her out, or that he did it via a shared Google document.
-----------------Maddie's plan for senior year is simple: keep her head down, her grades up, and focus on getting the hell out of Split River.
Making new friends isn't part of it. Neither is trying new things. Wally Clark- star athlete, most popular boy in school, and now Maddie's lab partner- definitely isn't part of her plan, but she's learning that in both life and science, there are always a few unexpected variables.

Summary
“What the hell are you doing, Walter?” Rhonda yells at him once she shakes off her shock, stomping across the hashmarks of the field until she reaches the big idiot.
Charlie, always a little softer in his delivery, elects to address the obvious. “Your door, Wally. You can move on.”
-
Wally Clark has two options in front of him, walk back off the field or walk through his door. Frankly he's pissed about both.
What if there's a third?

Summary
Wally can’t stop himself from butting in. “Wait. So you’re saying there’s a chance?”
He feels like he’s soaring. He watches his heart, his hope, fly in an arc from behind his ribs and right into Mr. Martin’s fidgeting hands. “There’s a chance,” he continues, “that somewhere, out in the great elsewhere or... whatever, there’s a universe where...” The rest of it clots in his throat. “... where Maddie and I can be together?”
(Or: Mr. Martin discovers an access point to the multiverse in the school. Somewhere out there exists a version of Maddie Nears and Wally Clark who get to grow up and grow old together. And they’re going to find it, even if it kills them. Again.)
