But when a battle with Voldemort ends with the Dark Lord recognizing Ethan by name (despite Ethan having never seen him in his life) Dumbledore decides there's only one explanation:
Ethan's past hasn't happened yet.
Armed with a Time-Turner and questionable judgement, Ethan is thrown back into the 1940's with one mission: uncover why Tom Riddle knows him. . . and stop whatever future disaster links them.
What he doesn't expect is to accidentally befriend Tom or earn his trust.
Or become the one person young Riddle can't quite figure out - Someone who refuses to fear him, be manipulated by him, or worship him.
Now Ethan must walk the razor's edge between preventing Voldemort's rise and surviving the boy will become him. Because changing the future isn't easy, especially when the future's greatest monster thinks you're his friend.
