Cap 37 - Um relato de baixo esforço sobre um absurdo de alto risco
Holly está cansada de salvar o mundo. Depois de uma guerra, de um funeral atrás do outro e de um desejo infeliz feito a uma sala mágica sem limites, ela acaba em algum lugar muito longe de casa — e um problema de outra pessoa.
Agora, ela administra uma padaria não totalmente legalizada em uma cidade onde a farinha é um assunto político, dragões supostamente são aterrorizantes (o dela é do tamanho de uma xícara de chá) e cuidar da própria vida é praticamente um crime. Ela não tem interesse em tronos, títulos ou bobagens da nobreza.
É exatamente por isso que os nobres não a deixam em paz.
Tudo o que Holly quer é sobreviver, permanecer insignificante e manter sua vitrine de doces cheia. Mas quando uma certa mulher nobre começa a aparecer para o chá, Holly se vê arrastada — relutantemente — para fofocas da corte, segredos reais e uma confusão grande o suficiente para derrubar um reino.
Ela não veio aqui para mudar o mundo. Mas o mundo continua batendo à sua porta.
