"Why do you need a chaperone?" Arthur asked.

Arthur's senses sharpened.
"Nonsense," he said dismissively. "I'm an alpha. If you were an omega, I would know."
Merlin shook his head and laughed. "In Essitir we have ways of… suppressing our omega urges."
"Whatever do you mean?" Arthur asked with a scowl.
Merlin cast a tiny glance over his shoulder.
"Help me get rid of Gaius and I will show you," he said.
