When Bruce reminds Jason that all he's ever been - all he'll ever be - is a loose cannon with anger issues, it's Tim, surprisingly, who says otherwise. Maybe things aren't how people seem to remember them and maybe Tim, the resident expert on all things Batfam, finally has his moment to shine and remind Jason of who he really is.

Jason is escaping from the League with fussy little baby Damian in his arms, taking him away from bad parents as far as possible. He doesn’t want to see Bruce, but the only safe place from the League is still Gotham.
How long can he raise Damian without the Bat knowing, and without anyone he can turn to at all?

I couldn't connect with the people of Gotham the way you could. I was in it for the wrong reasons. Vengeance. Anger. But to you, Robin was magic. Robin was a light in the darkness, a helper to all. I didn't bring that to Robin, you did. I don't think of anyone else when I hear that name."
Dick picks up the photo, looking at his little brother and his curls and his toothy smile. "Maybe Tim's right. Maybe Batman does need a Robin, someone to take care of. But Batman failed Robin. Batman failed you, Jay. I'm not sure he deserves another chance."

Summary
It's been over a year since Jason confronted Bruce in that god-forsaken apartment. Now, he's back in Gotham, back to protecting the people of Crime Alley, even if that means coming face to face with Batman again. What he doesn't expect, however, is to see Damian by Batman's side, wearing Robin colors and yelling at him for abandoning him. Summary
Peter was alone, mid-way through an existential crisis after the Erasure™ and was dreading the upcoming month of May.
Jason was sick of people telling him how he felt. ‘You don’t need us anymore,’ Artemis had told him, as if saying it would make it true. As if Jason needed someone to justify keeping them around. But three weeks back in Gotham and all Jason felt was fucking bored and lonely.
It was a relief, then, when some random New Yorker was thrown into his living room through a portal straight out of some LSD daydream.
Finally, something interesting to deal with.
Cue some wild family misunderstandings, criminal conspiracies and cults.
Because there’s always a goddamn cult.
