Summary
On Port Coriol, they held the funeral for Astra and Stella. It was their family - Jo, Pepper, Blue, Sidra, and Tak. Jo had taken enough of each girl to do a DNA scan, to hold in her records. There would almost certainly never be any way to identify these particular girls and when they ran, but if there was, she would want it to be possible.

"Do you have enough creds for university? Because creds are hard to figure out..." Pepper asked.
Jo laughed. "It's okay. I understand them."
"I don't! They still don't make sense to me! I'm glad I can barter. But anyway, I'm getting work now. If you need more creds..."
Jo reached out as if she could touch Pepper's hand through the sib, remembering every time they'd depended on one another. "There's a refugee stipend for education. It's enough for me, so long as I'm not extravagant and buy all the Big Bug sims."
"Shut up!" Pepper laughed. "They're my friends!"

Summary
There was a moment that Owl said was a turning point. They saw a hole in the world that led to a night full of stars and scrap. Jane 64 said, "Twenty-three, don't!"
Twenty-three let go of Sixty-four's hand, because she was going, no matter what anyone said. But Sixty-four reached back, grabbed tight, and was dragged outside with her. Two steps. Three steps. Four.
If Twenty-three had dropped her hand, Sixty-four would have been grabbed by that Mother, and Twenty-three would be out here alone. That would be the most bad.

Summary
There is a crack in the world—and that is where Harry Potter lands.
Spat out by Death itself, Harry finds himself in 1980, kneeling before Lord Voldemort—a god in pieces, madness draped in ruined elegance.
Mistaking Harry for a necromancer, Voldemort offers obsession in place of subjection: power, immortality, the freedom to become anything.
What begins as survival twists into intimacy, as Voldemort promises, “I will teach you how to kill God, by example.”
And as history fractures, as love and ruin blur, Harry must ask himself: “If the world was always a cruel machine, does it matter if I break it?”
There is no certainty in the prophecy now. No destiny left to obey. Only a boy, a monster, and what they will become together.

Summary
She can feel them. All of them.
Wherever they are, she feels them pulsing like scattered memories, keeps them alive through time and space and edges and rifts, and she hums through them all.
Her keys are forged stars. (And time doesn’t matter.)
She never takes one back. And she doesn’t start with it now; it’s always been his and that’s what she made it for, even when it is picked out against her thief’s will, knowledge and better judgement; by mad hands, a mad mind and with a mad wish.
She doesn’t hate it as much as the paradox she’s forced to keep up- still.
He is dangerous and so very dear (to her and to her thief, has always been, will always be), and that’s why she will deny his wish in the very end.
That’s why she kills the star immediately, too.
