I felt the echoes of this fandom, this story.
I was... late. Two to three years late, by my reckoning. People.. missing. Wounds and scars. IRL problems. I was forewarned. I dived in anyways. It.. hurt. But I learned so much, how to deal with problems and move on and how to function in a complicated world. I feel kind of strange, making this. Having never even known these people during that time period. I feel like an intruder, stirring up old ashes and pretending I feel even a fraction of what people at the time, with no warning, felt.
But there is a younger generation willing to listen, to hear the stories that once echoed.
Technoblade never dies. Thanks, man. We won't forget.

I run with his crowd, do some things for him, and I have protection and friendship. Crowfather took an interest in you two. That’s why I’m over here. Lucky you sat at this table and not the next one over.”
Techno couldn’t help but turn around to look at the table Sneeg was talking about. It held a similar demographic of people, but their tattoos were different. Instead of a crow tattoo, they had a tattoo of a poorly drawn chicken.
Really, it looked like a child drew it.
And it was all over these supervillains’ arms.
“Who’re they?”
“Those are Pollito’s people. Trust me, you’re better off with Crowfather. He has connections higher up and we could use talents like you.”

Wilbur stopped, then dropped his arms, feeling guilt for laying all this on a child. "That's…my own business."
"Oh shit," Tommy mumbled. "Okay, well, shit—what's your name?"
"Wilbur. Wilbur Soot."
"Well, Wilbur, I'm not letting you die. I can help get you therapy, if that's what you need—"
Wilbur snorted. "Yeah, sure. That's definitely what I need, after a year of trying it and it not working. Antidepressants haven't been working, therapy hasn't—what am I supposed to do? Continue to medicate myself, knowing there's no end to this fucking nightmare?"
Tommy narrowed his eyes. "Well, you're certainly not getting my fucking permission to commit suicide."
"I don't need your fucking permission. I'm a grown-ass adult."
Tommy laughed humorlessly. "Yeah. And that's why a seventeen-year-old is trying to reason an older man out of taking his own life."
"Well, you're doing a shit job," Wilbur spat.
