He wakes up the next morning late for class, but instead of hearing complaints or jokes aimed towards him from his students, he hears something else. For some reason his classroom is filled with his former classmates, all as teenagers from their freshman year!

Summary
The gate has been closed, Vecna defeated, and everything's looking up for the residents of Hawkins. Life is just starting to go back to normal (whatever that is) when strangers start appearing out of thin air. Quite literally falling from the sky in flashes of blue light.
Because of course the town can't go a year without something supernatural happening.
The Hargreeves have finally got a way out of the 60's, and are more than ready to return to a timeline where there's no impending doomsday breathing down their necks. Instead of landing back at the academy in the present day, they find themselves once again separated, this time in 1986.
Because of course they can't ever have a successful jump through time.
