Summary
Mike's having a full on identity crisis and Max shows up at his window, because of course she does. Lucas and Will are besties and Will finally opens up to him.
This whole fic started because I got really into Stupid Girl by Garbage, so go listen to it. 90s Mike would love Garbage... and Mazzy Star but that's for another fic.

Summary
Honestly, it wasn't fair. Dustin wasn't talking to him, El broke up with him, again, and now Will's mad at him. He doesn't even know what he did, so how does any of that make sense? Max and Lucas seemed to be the only ones on neutral grounds. Well, is it neutral if they agree more with the others than with him? He just wanted a moment of peace so he can try and solve one thing before moving on to the next and then the next, was that too much to ask?
Apparently, it was because now he was stuck in a room with his friends about to watch something he didn't want to talk about. Ever.

Summary
“Hey, Rob,” Steve says. “I’d really rather not have ‘She Bop’ be the last song I hear before I die.” Beside Mike, Max snorts out a laugh.
Steve glares at her in the rearview mirror and then runs a hand through his hair nervously. “I’m serious, what if she gets pissed at us? Like, what are we gonna tell her? Oh, sorry for dropping in Ms. Byers, our dumbass child suddenly realized he’s been leading on both of yours?”
“Hey!” Mike protests. “I wasn’t leading them ON, Jesus! I was confused!”
“Don’t say that, Mike, that’s a stereotype,” Robin tells him seriously. Then, to Steve: “You’re spinning out for no reason, that lady is a freaking saint.”
OR: It takes Mike’s family falling apart for his feelings about El and Will to finally click into place, and Steve and Robin and Max are just along for the ride.
