Ten minutes later, the office door opened. The room was filled with Hartman's off-key humming, and Minho felt disgusted. How could a man who sells children be so carefree, so happy? It was repulsive. He would enjoy killing him.
Minho listened as Hartman set something on his desk, most likely a briefcase if the clicking of locks was anything to go by. Minho moved closer to the end of the folding screen, ready to sneak up on Hartman as he counted his dirty money.
"How did you get in here?!" Hartman's angry, startled voice rang out, and Minho thought he was caught.

Summary
When Felix was wrapped up tightly in the arms of this vile creature they’d never felt safer. Felix felt protected in a way that the priests looking over them had never achieved. The goddess was wrapped up so tight in those arms that the demon could easily snap them in half. Yet Felix never wanted to escape from their hold. The goddess refused to admit it but deep down they knew this demon wouldn’t hurt them. The creature would destroy everything in its wake but never Felix. This demon was the goddess’s most devoted worshipper.
Felix thrived off of it and a dark seed of desire seeped into their bones. The goddess wanted to possess the demon just as much as the creature wanted to consume them. But Felix couldn’t give into such wicked temptation when they were such a pure creature themselves.
Felix really should have told the priests of their plight. It was too late for that now. The goddess was too far gone to be saved.
Trapped in a pretty prison Felix is a lonely goddess that calls out to the universe for someone to set them free. A demon is the one that answers their call.

Summary
Minho moves his hand from Chan’s leg to his arm, wraps his hand around Chan’s bicep and leans his weight against his mate's side. Chan takes him easily. It must be so hard for Chan, to sit there and admit to finding another omega attractive when they both know that, if things go according to plan, Chan will end up in bed with him. Chan will be sleeping with him for months, most likely, while he tries to put a baby in him. It’s a weird, strange situation they’re in, but he and Chan have been together for years, they trust each other explicitly, and if they’re going to do this then Minho at least wants it to be with someone that Chan likes.
“I want to meet him,” Minho says decisively. “I think he could be our surrogate, Chan-ah. What do you think?”
